I purchased the Delta Universal 6 Drawer Dresser in the cherry espresso color and loved it! It still has the dark color of espresso with a tint of red. I think it is gorgeous! A great price for an item that appears it will last for years to come! I love that it matched the crib I purchased for $200 as well. As others have stated, it's definitely a good solid wood product when compared to the mdf junk that's in most furniture you can order online with free shipping. Compared to most furniture of that sort, it's great, it's really nice looking.

It's a very simple and elegant design, though, so if you wanted to copy it with hard oak or maple for the outside pieces, it would be fairly easy. Also, there are definitely a few pieces of mdf snuck in there in inconspicuous places that likely won't affect the strength. As long as you don't go into it expecting a work of art, it's a great piece of furniture that I would recommend spending the extra bit of money on instead of picking up something at a department store. Stylish  and perfectly functional.

This Delta Universal 6 Drawer Dresser, Black Cherry Espresso was an upgrade from a changing table and we continue to use it to change diapers. Everything except the backing and the drawer bottoms appears to be solid wood, a rare find these days at this price. Highly recommend!!
